So Long Mervin! Non-Indigenous Bottom-feeder Gets the Boot

Hasbara's bottom-feeding, obnoxious, indigenous-fraud, Ryan Bellerose, is reportedly gone from his position as Bnai Brith's "Advocacy Coordinator" for Western Canada. Not only did Ryan not see it coming, he was so full of himself and proud of his association with the BBC, until the other day when he likely received the news. Now Ryan can take advantage of his free time and write that book on indigenous rights he promised several years ago, for which he raised over 21K!

It's a great day for self-respecting Jews who abhor the nebbish efforts of hasbara organizations, and are sickened by the constant search for unscrupulous token gentiles to "represent" Jewish interests. So-called "indigenous rights" activist, Ryan "Mervin" Bellerose epitomes this pathetic trend. So it is good to see that even the useless clowns of Bnai Brith Canada have their limits.

What a pleasure to see this buffoon exposed. We mocked him when he joined the left-wing Bnai Brith, and we will mock him again for his unceremonious removal. Clearly the big shots of Bnai Brith Canada, winners in their own right, had enough of this egotistical, obnoxious, charlatan. "The Judean Hammer" takes partial credit for his termination, because if nothing else, the Bnai Brith probably accepted our argument that he isn't even an Indian. They probably realized that they could get a more authentic Indian if they tried harder. Funny, because it wasn't that long ago when I joked that they were grooming "Eskimo Boy" to take over. 

Remember this from Sept of last year? 

“B’nai Brith has kind of died out in Western Canada,” Bellerose said. “My job is to try to help rebuild the brand and form new lodges in this region through community involvement. For example, we recently held a food drive for members of the northern Alberta reserves who were burned out of their homes by the forest fires. And we are trying to plan events that might attract different people who may not be on our radar.”

Who would have thought that it would only take a year for the Bnai Brith to realize that this guy was annoying them? It seems like ages ago when he wrote that silly piece about "why he was going to rock as Bnai Brith's advocacy coordinator".

True to form, Ryan immediately turned on those he was previously praising. (The Bnai Brith will now be considered a**hats.) He immediately took to Facebook to post the following. Coward that he is, he has since removed it:

Note the pathetic attempt to portray himself as being "unshackled". Funny how he never seemed to be shackled when he took the job and had a year and change to warm a seat in their facility. It wasn't that long ago that he was boasting about his great work with Bnai Brith. In truth, he was a glorified secretary, he just wasn't very good at it. And this particular secretary was hard on the eyes.

Imagine getting laid off for screwing up in your capacity as Western Canada's Advocacy Coordinator for Bnai Brith Canada? How does one accomplish that? What can you possibly do wrong that would compel the image conscious Bnai Brith to fire their lone "indigenous" token? Failing at that is the definition of a loser.

It is always a shame to have to waste energies on this fellow, but Ryan epitomizes so much that is wrong with "Jewish advocacy" today. As a man with associations and friendships with missionary Dumisani Washington and the duplicitous Kay Wilson; who has the chutzpah to opine on matters of Torah and Jewish identity, he warrants our attention now and again. The Bnai Brith Revisited

Question: What person in their right mind would designate the liberal "Bnai Brith" a strong Jewish organization?

Answer: Only a clueless outsider who doesn't understand a damn thing about Judaism or Jewish history. Only a foolish outsider who never read Lenny Bruce's scathing remarks back in the day when the Bnai Brith was more prominent.

A whimsical look at the impotent Bnai Brith. Right wing, you say? Ha! Only if one believes that a gay-supporting, pacifistic, two-State supporting, advocate of Islamic terrorist "refugees" constitutes a "strong Jewish advocacy organization".

Who would believe such a thing? Perhaps the kind of fool who subscribes to the multicultural fiction of "indigenous rights, where the barbarous Maori are celebrated as noble savages despite a historical proclivity for cannibalism.

Disingenuous But Not Indigenous

Any sensitive Jew should be outraged that a non-Jewish ignoramus would have the gall to speak so crudely of a Jewish institution which, although flawed and riddled with problems, is tasked with the impossible responsibility of addressing halachic matters on a national scale. Furthermore, that any non-Jew would denigrate halacha and DECIDE for us Jews, the definition of a Jew is repulsive and it speaks volumes about who he is.

Now it is well-known in normal circles that Bellerose is a loud-mouthed buffoon. He is not even an Indian, and he often lies and tries to identify as both Metis and Indian, which are mutually exclusive identities, and is generally understood by both groups to be so. The problem is that Ryan's Facebook wall is an echo-chamber of non-thinkers, and even his orthodox Jewish supporters are giving him a pass, even though by some of their comments, they are clearly disgusted by his most recent outburst.

At "The Judean Hammer" we aren't afraid of anyone, and we will call out this fraud until it sinks into people's head that he is a conniving, bigoted, charlatan, who has no genuine respect for Jews or our holy Torah.

Enemy of Torah

When a Jew with a vested interest in the Jewish people reflects on the Israeli Rabbinate, and civilly discusses contemporary problems, it is one thing. When an obnoxious, ignorant and arrogant gentile opines on issues of Torah and Halacha and denigrates Torah institutions, that is an entirely different matter. Here are some recent comments that Bnai Brith Canada’s gentile Advocacy Coordinator, Ryan Mervin Bellerose, had to say about the Israeli Rabbinate. Regardless of one’s positions on this issue, any sensitive, caring, self-respecting Jew should be appalled at this vulgarian’s disrespect for Halacha. In response to a gentile Israeli’s complaint that the Rabbinate doesn’t consider her Jewish (her father is Jewish), Bellerose spewed forth the following filth. Ironically, if someone other than their token fake-Indian said such crude things about the Israeli Rabbinate, the Bnai Brith would scream "anti-semitism!":

• The rabbinate can go piss up a rope, you are as Jewish as anyone I know.

• the rabbinate is corrupt and doesn't follow Torah values the way I have come to understand them from speaking with a lot of Jewish people, they are more concerned with worldly power than actually making Jewish life better.

• I don't believe the rabbinate has more Torah wisdom than most Israelis I know.

The nerve of this ignoramus to lecture Jews on Halacha and identity. The fact that this woman is not Jewish is basic, normative Halacha, that has been codified from time immemorial. Matriarchal definition as a necessity for halachic staus as a Jew has NOTHING to do with the Rabbinate and everything to do with Torah.

 Ryan Bellerose works for Bnai Brith Canada. What do they make of this issue? Do they have a problem with Bellerose telling the Israeli Rabbinate to take a piss up a rope? Contact them and demand that they terminate this clown’s employment from their joke of an organization. What about Hasbara outlets such as StandWithUs, IsraellyCool, and Israel National News? Are they going to continue giving this crude fool a forum for his filth? Contact them and demand that they cut all ties with this horrible person or suffer the consequence of ignoring him.

And what about all those "new peace activists" who share one version ore another of Ryan's fixation on the nonsensical "indigenous rights" argument? People like Yehudah Hakohen of LAVI and Alternative Action? Are they going to give Bellerose a pass? Their beloved Rav Kook (of blessed memory) was part of the Rabbinate. And Ryan the arrogant gentile just spat upon Torah and Halacha and the institution of Rabbanim. And for this alone, this repugnant man-child needs to be shown the door. The time is long over-due.

Ryan is no Jew. He has nothing to say on Jewish matters or identity. Her should try to figure out who the hell he is himself. With such disrespect for Torah and Jews, he is proving once again that he isn't even a decent gentile. Just a loud-mouthed, angry, man-child who doesn't even speak on behalf of his own people.

Bnai Brith: A Relic And A Reminder

Don't mess with the Bnai Brith!

There are simpletons on the hasbara scene today, who have this absurd notion that the Bnai Brith is a right-wing organization. It might have to do with the fact that hasbara's token fake Indian, Ryan Mervin Bellerose, currently works for them and he insists that it is so. That is, if you can call what Bellerose does "work". Basically he posts "indigenous rights" nonsense on Bnai Brith Canada's Facebook page, and tweets about their nebbish "what will the goyim think?" activism.

For the ill-informed, Bnai Brith is about as right-wing as Rosie O'Donnell. In the following screenshot, we see them call out President Trump for his decision to keep mentally-ill transsexuals out of the military. But for the BB, this and other leftist "social issues" are reason to scream "shanda!" to the Heavens.

Unbeknownst to Bellerose, Bnai Brith has ALWAYS been a liberal, secular, weak-kneed, limp-wristed, politically correct organization, whose views on Judaism are as far from Sinai as possible. Only a person living under a rock for 100 years would think otherwise. Or a gentile clown from Canada, who wouldn't know what Judaism says about anything, but has the gall to lecture Jews on matters of halacha and identity. The chutzpah of this obnoxious token is well-known. But his most recent statements are astounding:

• In the following screenshot we see that renowned posek of Jewish law, Rabbi Mervin Bellerosenberg, opine on the halachic issue of ascending Har HaHabayit. Of course there are varying halachic positions both supporting and prohibiting ascension, but this ignorant gentile blowhard thinks that because he heard some cookie-cutter religious-zionists express one position, that suddenly makes him an authority.

There are numerous examples of Ryan's "foot in mouth" disorder. In the past, the esteemed geneticist Dr. Mervin Bellerosenstien tried to explain to us Jews, how conquering the Canaanites (correctly and with G-d's command) doesn't make us colonizers according to his definition of indigenous identity. Because as this blowhard as opined, "conquerors cannot become indigenous". So how did he deal with this narrative of Jewish displacement of Canaanites (which I fully support as a Torah Jew) which throws his assertions where they belong? On different occasions, he threw out some version of the arguments below:

• Jews are the closest thing to the Canaanites. So according to his magical theory we never displaced or killed the Canaanites, but simply became them. Unfounded claims based on nothing.

• Jews have more "Canaanite blood" than anyone else. More stupid blood-based assertions based on the former, with a similar lack of evidence.

As I've noted before, which studies show such foolishness? Surely the existence of Jewish religion and culture and the lack of Canaanite religion/culture/identity prove otherwise. Blood based theories? Which studies prove that Jews have Gibeonite blood? Such pseudo-historical foolishness.

Finally, Dr. Bellerosenkranz, that famed historian, has also on occasion resorted to the following tactics to contest the biblical narrative. He tends to save the latter one for his secular supporters, since the brazen disregard for tradition of this claim, would put off many religious supporters:

• The ‘where are the Canaanites today’ argument.  In other words, if there were some Canaanites around then they MAY have a claim. According to this logic the failure of say the “white colonists” in America was that they neglected to exterminate every Indian, which would have included the theoretical possibility of being indigenous. 

• His ignorant assertion that the historical record shows that the biblical account didn't happen as recorded. Here he offends Jewish sensibilities by denying the truth of the historical conquest. Of which there is MUCH proof. Tel Chatzor for example. Even notorious biblical critics don't like the fact that Chatzor's destruction layer damages much of their assertions:

Of course until relatively recently, Ryan was a self-identifying Roman Catholic who believed in Jesus. Suddenly now in middle age he is the arbiter of all matters related to identity. But wait! The other day, Ryan posted on his wall that he isn't Christian. So what gives? Who is this guy to lecture anyone on anything identity related? He can't even decide who he is himself. Make up your mind, Ryan!

Rarely do people call Ryan out, since his Facebook wall is a notorious echo chamber. Ryan unfriends and blocks people who have the gall to disagree with him or call him out. When "The Judean Hammer" had a Facebook page (before Ryan and his like-minded hasbara minions reported it) we often received messages from these people who admitted that we were right all along and that Ryan was a nasty bully. But sometimes, people on his wall do have the courage to call him put for his falsehood:

Perhaps this explains so much about Ryan Bellerose, and why he maintains that Bnai Brith is a hard-core activist group. He doesn't realize how little he knows. In many ways he resembles Ned Beatty's character in Deliverance. Because he doesn't know nothing.

Further reflections on a bad guy on the hasbara scene today, the notorious Bnai Brith token, Ryan Mervin Bellerose. A con-man who spreads lies and eschews civil debate (do the research if you disagree) for insult, and betrays those who helped him in the past. Were he not so odious, he would be fit to ignore. But a man who raises over 21 thousand dollars on GoFundMe on the pretext of writing a book is a man who deserves the microscope. And his leftist "anti-white" routine is vulgar and racist. 

Ryan hurled lies about "The Judean Hammer" and accused us of racism. This we take very seriously. Anyone who reads anything in our platform knows that we oppose any form of racism, and we call people out on both sides of the spectrum. And we mock the soft insidious racism of the left and the multiculturalists, often using humor and sarcasm to highlight a point. But the charge of racism is projection, since Ryan always denigrates and attacks "white people". So the gloves are off with this charlatan, who is feeling the heat as never before.

Bnai Brith Bubbies Unite!

Contemporary hasbara (Jewish advocacy) is shameless and undignified. Limp-wristed in thought and in deed. Few organizations illustrate this truism  as clearly as the liberal Bnai Brith. When Lenny Bruce called the Bnai Brith goyish, he knew exactly what he was talking about. 

When they are not bowling, hosting interfaith Passover Seders, advocating for gay rights, or opposing sane policies to keep terrorists out of North America, sometimes the Bnai Brith "reports" hate crimes to the authorities. Naturally, the anti-semites of the world are trembling, knowing that within 24 hours of your call to the Bnai Brith hotline, these great Jewish warriors will send someone to your house to remove the swastika with bleach. This terrifies them immensely.

The Bnai Brith and other mainstream hasbara organizations are a part of the problem, because they impede true Torah solutions and in it's stead, they propagate liberal values. And in the quest to appear universal, they and other like-minded hasbara organizations are obsessed with finding exotic gentile tokens, so that the world won't think that they only care about (or employ) Jews. Because that would be a genuine "shanda for the goyim." 

Naturally they are always on the lookout for the next best thing. Rumor has it that the Bnai Brith is desperate for a real Native-American, but as a rule they take what they can get. Nevertheless, it's hardly an optimal situation for them. And it doesn't help that clever memes (like the one below) are really taking the piss out of the Metis mythos. It's becoming ridiculous. 

In the meantime insiders are reporting that BB is carefully grooming their rising star, "Eskimo Boy". But such projects take time, and Eskimo Boy is but a child.

They are obsessed with "The Judean Hammer". We are irrelevant, insignificant, and voiceless, yet they listen to our podcasts. Brilliant.

Yet unlike these impotent weaklings we specialize in truth.  Everything is documented and unlike our enemies we don't peddle lies.

They are watching, they are reading, and they are perseverating. People are catching on to the hasbara frauds. It's a good thing.

And the fake indigenous fraud, Chief Crybaby" is pouting again, because people are finally discovering what a bully and con-artist he is. He believes that he can peddle lies and not expect us to expose his true self to the Jewish public. In his tantrum state, he cyber-bullies and threatens. A pleasure to see a petulant man-child whining.

A great and wise man used to say: "Those who can't debate, defame." The faux-indigenous one is seeing red. And nothing could be finer.

Bnai Brith Advocacy

A gentile hasbara token mocked my comment on Facebook today, when I referred to the B'nai Brith (his place of employment) as a leftist Jewish organization. This bloated buffoon truly believes that the liberal B'nai Brith is a strong Jewish organization. What world does he live in? Of course this same overweight, Caucasian, formerly Roman Catholic, ignorant, bigoted, sexually frustrated, man-child believes that he is Native-American, and that he understands Judaism better than Jews. Any Jew with a brain in his head understands that the B'nai Brith is as kosher as lobster. But unlike a lobster the B'nai Brith has limp wrists rather than pincers. That is precisely why such organizations collect their gentile tokens. To show the world that they are open-minded and diverse, even if the spectacle is contrived and pathetic. Ladies and gentlemen, the B'nai Brith. Advocates for sin and degeneracy.

The Judean Hammer Lives

In line with Dr. Frankenstein's G-dless values, the powerful monster of Facebook permits the free exchange  of ideas provided that it comes from:

• liberals
• multi-culturalists
• snowflakes
• social justice warriors
• indigenous rights activists 

And so on. 

Provided of course, that the content is also anti-Jewish or anti-Israel. Because as we have seen, even impotent expression of pro-Israel sentiment (say, coming from the Bnai Brith) may be deemed extremist and blocked. G-d help us but this is the truth. So naturally, any forum for uncompromising Jewish truth is certainly in danger of censorship. 

After several years of mischief and mayhem, "The Judean Hammer Facebook Page" was finally taken down. The irony is that it wasn't taken down sooner, nor was it taken down because of Arabs complaining about the content. It was removed because Jewish and non-Jewish hasbarites  couldn't handle the content or engage in reasoned discourse. And unfortunately FB's Bolshevik forum doesn't allow one to inquire about or contest their hasty decisions. 

Fortunately, The Judean Hammer blog lives on, the ideas still resonate, and there will be even greater opportunities for in the near future. And don't worry. All of the content is safe and archived. Nothing was lost, except for a Facebook page which was always in danger of getting taken down by Facebook's "Animal Farm". The non-PC truth campaign continues. Arabs, Jew haters, missionaries, Jewish enablers of missionaries, hasbarites, both Jewish and gentile, beware. Prepare for a whole lot more. We know you watch and read the contents of "The Judean Hammer".

Meir Weinstien, JDL Canada, and the Contemporary Mythos (audio)

Audio reflections on the mythology of Jewish self-defense in Canada. And on shameful self-promoting charlatans who act more like heads of Bnai Brith than supposed "militants".

As I've noted before, when the local Bnai Brith is cool with your JDL charter, you've done something wrong. When Doris and David from "Menchlife" praise you for your activism, you've failed Judaism. JDL was created to upset the Doris and Davids of the Jewish world, not to be "good Irvings" or "nice Meirs" to be celebrated on Jewish Canadian coffee-talk. Evidently, someone forgot to teach these things to the head of JDL Canada.

Meir Weinstein, “JDL Canada”, and the Contemporary Mythos: Part I

If Meir Weinstein would have just stayed out of a fight he knows nothing about, I would have refrained from penning this piece. If he would have stuck to his little charade in Canada, selling the image of Jewish self-defense rather than implementing it, I would have left him alone. But as I’ve noted before, don’t poke the bull again and again. Don’t lie about good Jews. Don't shame other Jews on Facebook. So now I am forced to open the book.

Several weeks ago, I was forced to call out a certain Yisrael Medad for his outrageous behavior on social media. I wrote:

“Yisrael Medad has the gall to attack a good Jew who was once ensnared in the church, and who in a teshuva process, now dedicates his every free moment to protecting Jews from the missionary menace, based upon his knowledge of such groups. We know what the Torah says about one who would denigrate a Jew for past mistakes. But what of Medad's ongoing sin of being a stumbling block for the Jewish people? The same can be said for others like David "Haivri" Axelrod and the growing army of small Jews who help missionaries gain a foothold in Israel. What a shameful person. Cry for yourself, Yisrael. Cry for Am Yisrael.”

And now the same can be said for the head of the supposed “JDL Canada” (more like Bnai Brith Canada) for calling out the same individual. I’m not going to mince words. Shame on both men for their outrageous behavior. Let me not dance around the bush. They are speaking about my dear friend Moshe Schwartz, who dedicates his life to combatting the missionary threat in Israel. As anyone who knows Moshe Schwartz will attest on so many occasions he has given the shirt off his back to another Jew or opened his home indefinitely. So, this blood libel against a good Jew who has been open about his distant past where he was ensnared with the church, and fights today with every fiber of his being against the missionary menace is the definition of disgraceful. The sin of reminding a penitent of his past is egregious. 

Moshe Schwartz is one of the administrators of “The Judean Hammer” Facebook page and he knows what he’s talking about on these critical matters. There is a reason I installed him in this role. His integrity, his teshuvah, and his knowledge. Larger anti-missionary organizations often use the expertise of baalei teshuva who fled the snare of church, and now use their expertise to save Jewish souls and alert the public. And to reiterate, Moshe is an open book on such issues and his teshuva process is apparent to anyone who knows what fuels him.

Back to Weinstein. JDL Canada is a joke and a disgrace to anyone who reveres Rabbi Kahane. Meir Weinstein knows little of Rabbi Kahane’s Torah, as exhibited by his support of the missionaries of CUFI, and his attacks on other Jews who fight the enemy. Yet he defends people like David “Haivri” Axelrod in Israel who associates and works with known missionaries and evangelical predators. He does this because JDL Canada is an unprincipled hasbara organization which has little to do with Jewish self-defense. That is precisely why they have such a good reputation in Canada and get along well with the Bnai Brith. When a JDL gets along with the Bnai Brith it speaks volumes about the former.

As far as self-defense, every Canadian I know who cares about Jewish self-defense attests to the joke of JDL Canada. Their patrols are a joke, and largely non-existent. No one I spoke with could remember any examples of them protecting Jews. At least Bnai Brith Canada will send a clean-up crew to erase the swastika from your door after 24 hours.

But it is Weinstein’s shameful treatment of a good Jew that is most telling. Carefully watch any exchange on FB and you will see that he cannot answer questions, he defends the wrong people, and attacks the few good men and women who fight the honest fight.

JDL Canada. Flag waving and Hatikvah. Barbeques and baseball. V’zehu. One Kahanist who knew Meir years ago in Israel noted that Weinstein was noted for one thing. He consistently fled from the police when the fire got hot. Kind of like this altercation where two chayas (it appears there were two who threw down, G-d bless them) jumped into the fray, but a certain someone stands there waving his flag. Bring it on Meir. Boycott Sears? Great! But how about boycotting Amazon, Ebay, Walmart, and all the other big boys who continue to sell the same "Free Palestine!" T-shirts. Or is this too much to ask of disingenuous hasbara groups? These hypocrites should stop celebrating their supposed victory and continue to fight the other sellers. Or they can shut their mouths.

Here's a little advice. Those who claim to be a defense organization should stick to the basics. Bricks and bats in defense of Jews. Because the Bnai Brith will certainly not protect Jews. Too many bowling leagues, interfaith cook-outs, and tweets to attend to. And a word of advice: if your JDL charter is "good" with the local Bnai Brith, something is wrong.

Unprincipled Hasbarites: Part I (slideshow)

A visual look at one of the more odious "hasbara" tokens on the scene today. Meet an unsavory man who "GoFundsMe" his life under the pretext of a supposed upcoming treatise on "indigenous rights", and has the gall to lecture Jews (he isn't even Jewish) on Torah, Judaism, and identity. A man who threw his former patron and friend under the bus because she dared retain a friendship with someone he disagreed with. A man who has no principles, panders to every side, and even associates himself with missionaries like the notorious Dumisani Washington. I am not calling him a missionary. But he is certainly friends with missionaries and those Jews who enable them. Meet Bnai Brith's online activist, Ryan Mervin Bellerose.

Oh, lest I forget. He's a self-hating bigot who hates and denigrates white people, and rails against "Jews acting white". The irony is that most of his support comes from Ashkenazi, "white", Jews who parrot his nonsense. Bored people with too much time on their hands. Furthermore, he also resents Jews of color, because they have something he lacks. Dark skin. Meet the race obsessed Ryan Bellerose.

President Donald Trump: A Jewish Perspective

For the record, I am ecstatic that President Elect Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton, that corrupt power-crazed chameleon who wears as many duplicitous faces as she does ill-fitting pant-suits. It was aggravating enough to see American society erode under eight grueling years of Obama's reign of tyranny. While Obama should have been protecting America from Islamic terror and black supremacists,he was too busy destroying America's medical care, ramming gay marriage upon an unwilling populace, and continuing his “rainbow” crusade to allow transsexuals into the ladies’ room. In her quest for power, the unprincipled Hillary would have pandered to every degeneracy by continuing Obama's legacy, and the American Republic would have been doomed. Fortunately, eight years of hell didn't become twelve. Reason enough to celebrate.

It is good to see the downfall of corrupt arrogant people.

I confess that it is more than good. It is a JOY to see deranged liberals losing their minds over the results of a lawful election. Furthermore, the liberal media was shamed for their biases, as Hillary’s litany of crimes were exposed every day like  a broken sewer pipe, spewing its raw filth upon an increasingly nauseated public. As so many others, I was sick of reading about Clinton’s negligent behavior as Secretary of State which cost American lives, her culture of corruption, the criminal enterprises of the “Clinton Foundation”, and a slew of other scandals. Throw in her general vindictiveness and anti-antisemitism, and one needn’t wonder why the American public flexed it's collective might and said NO MORE. Trump’s victory offers America an opportunity to right a sinking ship, and turn back the clock on eight-years of Bolshevism. If nothing else, it means that Hillary Clinton isn’t president, and that Islam won’t triple its numbers in America and continue to grow as a fifth column. Nevertheless, it is not merely an example of addition by subtraction. With his genuine talents and patented chutzpah, Donald Trump can indeed accomplish great things for America. 

So I am very pleased with the results. But I am less ecstatic by the extremes of Jewish expression on both ends of the spectrum, which as I see it, have no place in a Torah perspective. On the one hand, we have the cookie-cutter Jewish liberals, who swallowed the leftist Kool-Aid and deem Donald Trump and his associates as Jew haters, bigots, etc. In the absence of any evidence, they readily resort to the standard slurs of the left: vitriol and defamation. The Bnai Brith’s Anti-Defamation League comes to mind, with their recent witch-hunt against Breitbart's Stephen Bannon, which they have since had to backtrack on. Ironic how the ADL ignores Obama’s anti-Semitism, but saw fit to slander a man who supports Israel, exposes Islamic barbarism, and has a disproportionate number of Jews working with him. And lest we forget, Andrew Breitbart was himself a Jew.

Those who were once accused of drinking blood (and still are in Arab countries), would be well to remember the sin of false accusations. No honest individual denies that there are white racists in the United states, but I would venture to say that they are fewer in number than the black Ku Klux Klan of the BLM movement, which has a wider base of support from the lib media, academia, and politicians, than any white racist ever could. The ADL should give equal attention to black supremacy. 

Liberalism is a world-wide pandemic, and the infected rarely recover. Look at the maniacs screeching over President Elect Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton. Bedlam unleashed in the streets. “Safe zones” on college campuses for the intellectually deprived, who want to curl up in a fetal position because Hillary didn’t win. People who equate law and order with racism. And these are the non-violent ones. The savages who resort to violence represent the darker side of this story, the veritable lynch mobs attacking people for voting Trump.

The Jewish liberal will always contribute to this infection, since in the absence of Torah, one will invariably worship some version of Baal. Today’s paganism is liberal thought, so contrary to the notion of free will and the intellect. As far as the elections go, even if one doesn’t like Trump, he is better than the corrupt Hillary. One may find Trump coarse and brazen, but what of the Clintonian perversions and crimes which are so apparent?

The charges of racism from the liberal federations, the Bnai Brith’s Anti-Defamation League, and the self-loathing American Jewish rags are as predictable as the morning sun. They tar innocent people while tolerating genuine anti-Semites who comprise the inner circle of Obama and of Hillary. Blood libels are the lefts tool. And when a Jew hurls a blood libel against Jew or gentile, it is an ironic perversity.

The Left are supremely intolerant of dissent. In response to an alternative viewpoint, they hurl invective. We see this all the time in Israel, most recently, when Zionist Union Opposition leader, Isaac Herzog referred to “settlers” as viruses. If a politician or pundit on the right used such inflammatory language about leftists, the Shabak would pay him a night-time visit.

Viruses? 

This is the language a prominent Israeli leftist politician used to describe noble Jews who chose to live in the "liberated" areas of our biblical Homeland. The demonization and subsequent dehumanization of fellow Jews (who act as a buffer from the terrorists in our heartland) is a vulgarity that will go unpunished, since Herzog is a leader of the elitist untouchable Left. As an aside, it should be noted that the only virus in this situation is one who would use the term to tar other Jews for the crime  of living in their own land.

Similarly, the demonization of Donald Trump and his advisers by Jews is a grotesque mischaracterization, and yet it is to be expected, since Jewish liberals mirror their non-Jewish counterparts. All too often, liberal Jews choose misguided notions of naive, universalism to assuage guilt and self-loathing. But the repercussions of such a distorted viewpoint are exposed on a grand stage when Jewish groups make public pronouncements which have no basis in truth.

The Folly of the Right

As a religious Jew living in Israel, I have no expectations of any President when it comes to Israel. After all, when Israeli PM’s speak of “peace talks” and peace partners, what can one expect of any president, even a decent man?

The reaction of many right-wing Jews in America and abroad is equally un-Jewish. The distorted and silly association of Trump as a messiah of sorts. For some this takes the form of misguided expectations and a delusional desire to read prophetic import into his election. This is the path of the guru and the self-styled mystic. For others, they seek out supposed proofs to show that Trump’s ascension has some cosmic implications.

Both extremes are foreign to Jewish thought. The desire to demonize Trump, and the desire to deify him. From a Jewish perspective, Donald Trump is infinitely better than the nightmarish alternative. But less us not make more of it than we should. He will be much better for America. His mandate includes a promise to secure the border, fix the US economy, and deal with Muslim terror. While we certainly don’t know G-d’s ways on this matter, surely caution and discretion is the prudent path, since broad baseless predictions are not the Torah way.

The ADL represents one extreme, and they are a caricature of sorts. One expects of them what one expects from Haaretz or a Herzog. An un-Jewish anti-Torah perspective which mimics western liberalism. But the religious Jew and the proud self-identifying Jew must guard himself. Donald Trump is surely no devil and we should excoriate those leftist Jews who desire to paint him as such. But we should refrain from the irrational messianic inclinations, particularly in relation to Israel’s destiny, and the desire to want to see salvation in his presidency. Unlike America, our Jewish destiny is spelled out in the shema. And if we follow the formula, neither the current occupant in the White House nor the future one have any impact on what happens in Eretz Yisroel. They have democracy. We have Divine Intervention.

The left and the right: both groups are clueless, because both have a distorted framework. The former has relativism as their moral compass and so we shouldn’t wonder why the ethics of Sodom express themselves. But the religious Jew who shirks responsible analysis and resorts to populist pandering is also a tragedy. It’s all over Facebook. Good Jews reading into Trump and portraying him as something he is not. He is not the Messiah. From Israel’s perspective, we should expect disappointment from every president, since the worldview of even the most righteous of men, will invariably be different from the ideal image of an authentically Jewish State of Israel.

I wish all the best to President Elect Donald Trump, with the hope that he follows the moral path, directs America onto a path of decency and strength, treats Israel with respect and respects our sovereignty, and thus merits the eternal promise of Abraham. These are reasonable things to hope for. But we should not assume that our lofty expectations will be met.

In the meantime, there is merit in celebrating Hillary Clinton’s defeat. The occasion is certainly worthy of making a l’chaim or two with quality schnapps. In the absence of gallows for Hillary’s documented treason, which the Founding Fathers would have surely deemed appropriate for the occasion, here’s to the hope that she will soon be fitted with shackles and an ill fitting orange uniform.
