Disingenuous But Not Indigenous

Ryan Mervin Bellerose, Bnai Brith Canada's token "indigenous" gentile hasbarite, recently made a disgusting comment about the Israeli Rabbinate. Feel free to check out my post from last week: http://thejudeanhammer.blogspot.co.il/2017/08/hasbara-or-halacha_3.html

Any sensitive Jew should be outraged that a non-Jewish ignoramus would have the gall to speak so crudely of a Jewish institution which, although flawed and riddled with problems, is tasked with the impossible responsibility of addressing halachic matters on a national scale. Furthermore, that any non-Jew would denigrate halacha and DECIDE for us Jews, the definition of a Jew is repulsive and it speaks volumes about who he is.

Now it is well-known in normal circles that Bellerose is a loud-mouthed buffoon. He is not even an Indian, and he often lies and tries to identify as both Metis and Indian, which are mutually exclusive identities, and is generally understood by both groups to be so. The problem is that Ryan's Facebook wall is an echo-chamber of non-thinkers, and even his orthodox Jewish supporters are giving him a pass, even though by some of their comments, they are clearly disgusted by his most recent outburst.

At "The Judean Hammer" we aren't afraid of anyone, and we will call out this fraud until it sinks into people's head that he is a conniving, bigoted, charlatan, who has no genuine respect for Jews or our holy Torah.

The Demon Within (audio)

Reflections on the religious Jewish leaders, figures, and communities that are aiding the evangelical xtians in their missionary efforts in Israel. Evidently, the lure of economic and personal benefit gain was too much for some Jews to resist. And yet decent Jews cannot afford to remain silent on this critical issue. For too long, many Jews turned away from this troubling issue. Yet apathy and fear will bite us in the long run. The problems will only become more complex, more nuanced, more difficult to handle. We are at a critical juncture. On the one hand, more Jews are slowly becoming aware of the issue. Yet only in a general sense, and they aren't motivated to take more aggressive action. Furthermore, the Jewish enablers have resorted once again to slander and libel and gutter-tactics of lies and deception. We will eventually win. We have the Torah truth on our side. But at what cost?

Snakes: A Counter-Response

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz of "Breaking Israel News" recently responded to my article “Snakes in The Vineyard” with an article of his own. While I appreciate his ability to address these contentious issues without resorting to defamation, Adam is wrong on this issue. Hayovel is indeed a missionary organization. My response is featured in The Jewish PressSnakes: A Counter-Response

Snakes In The Grass

My latest post on the insidious missionary organization Hayovel, who slither through the fields of the Shomron region thanks to the support of religious Jews. Today's focus is the unscrupulous Jewish vintners who sell out Am Yisrael for greed. It is a veritable horror story but it is true.

Be careful which Israeli wines you purchase. Any vintner who uses xtian labor should be boycotted as far as I'm concerned. We should all make an effort to support those Jews who resist the economic temptation of "free labor". "Snakes In The Vineyard" is now featured in The Jewish Press: http://www.jewishpress.com/indepth/columns/fuchs-focus/snakes-in-the-vineyard/2017/08/07/

Hasbara or Halacha?

"Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; my hand upon it! he shall not be unpunished." (Proverbs 16:5)

Enemy of Torah
When a Jew with a vested interest in the Jewish people reflects on the Israeli Rabbinate, and civilly discusses contemporary problems, it is one thing. When an obnoxious, ignorant and arrogant gentile opines on issues of Torah and Halacha and denigrates Torah institutions, that is an entirely different matter. Here are some recent comments that Bnai Brith Canada’s gentile Advocacy Coordinator, Ryan Mervin Bellerose, had to say about the Israeli Rabbinate. Regardless of one’s positions on this issue, any sensitive, caring, self-respecting Jew should be appalled at this vulgarian’s disrespect for Halacha. In response to a gentile Israeli’s complaint that the Rabbinate doesn’t consider her Jewish (her father is Jewish), Bellerose spewed forth the following filth. Ironically, if someone other than their token fake-Indian said such crude things about the Israeli Rabbinate, the Bnai Brith would scream "anti-semitism!":
  • The rabbinate can go piss up a rope, you are as Jewish as anyone I know.
  • the rabbinate is corrupt and doesn't follow Torah values the way I have come to understand them from speaking with a lot of Jewish people, they are more concerned with worldly power than actually making Jewish life better.
  • I don't believe the rabbinate has more Torah wisdom than most Israelis I know.
The nerve of this ignoramus to lecture Jews on Halacha and identity. The fact that this woman is not Jewish is basic, normative Halacha, that has been codified from time immemorial. Matriarchal definition as a necessity for halachic staus as a Jew has NOTHING to do with the Rabbinate and everything to do with Torah.

Ryan Bellerose works for Bnai Brith Canada. What do they make of this issue? Do they have a problem with Bellerose telling the Israeli Rabbinate to take a piss up a ropeContact them and demand that they terminate this clown’s employment from their joke of an organization. What about Hasbara outlets such as StandWithUsIsraellyCool, and Israel National News? Are they going to continue giving this crude fool a forum for his filth? Contact them and demand that they cut all ties with this horrible person or suffer the consequence of ignoring him.

And what about all those "new peace activists" who share one version ore another of Ryan's fixation on the nonsensical "indigenous rights" argument? People like Yehudah Hakohen of LAVI and Alternative Action? Are they going to give Bellerose a pass? Their beloved Rav Kook (of blessed memory) was part of the Rabbinate. And Ryan the arrogant gentile just spat upon Torah and Halacha and the institution of Rabbanim. And for this alone, this repugnant man-child needs to be shown the door. The time is long over-due.

Ryan is no Jew. He has nothing to say on Jewish matters or identity. Her should try to figure out who the hell he is himself. With such disrespect for Torah and Jews, he is proving once again that he isn't even a decent gentile. Just a loud-mouthed, angry, man-child who doesn't even speak on behalf of his own people.

Bnai Brith: A Relic And A Reminder

Don't mess with the Bnai Brith!

There are simpletons on the hasbara scene today, who have this absurd notion that the Bnai Brith is a right-wing organization. It might have to do with the fact that hasbara's token fake Indian, Ryan Mervin Bellerose, currently works for them and he insists that it is so. That is, if you can call what Bellerose does "work". Basically he posts "indigenous rights" nonsense on Bnai Brith Canada's Facebook page, and tweets about their nebbish "what will the goyim think?" activism.

For the ill-informed, Bnai Brith is about as right-wing as Rosie O'Donnell. In the following screenshot, we see them call out President Trump for his decision to keep mentally-ill transsexuals out of the military. But for the BB, this and other leftist "social issues" are reason to scream "shanda!" to the Heavens.

Unbeknownst to Bellerose, Bnai Brith has ALWAYS been a liberal, secular, weak-kneed, limp-wristed, politically correct organization, whose views on Judaism are as far from Sinai as possible. Only a person living under a rock for 100 years would think otherwise. Or a gentile clown from Canada, who wouldn't know what Judaism says about anything, but has the gall to lecture Jews on matters of halacha and identity. The chutzpah of this obnoxious token is well-known. But his most recent statements are astounding:
  • In the following screenshot we see that renowned posek of Jewish law, Rabbi Mervin Bellerosenberg, opine on the halachic issue of ascending Har HaHabayit. Of course there are varying halachic positions both supporting and prohibiting ascension, but this ignorant gentile blowhard thinks that because he heard some cookie-cutter religious-zionists express one position, that suddenly makes him an authority.

There are numerous examples of Ryan's "foot in mouth" disorder. In the past, the esteemed geneticist Dr. Mervin Bellerosenstien tried to explain to us Jews, how conquering the Canaanites (correctly and with G-d's command) doesn't make us colonizers according to his definition of indigenous identity. Because as this blowhard as opined, "conquerors cannot become indigenous". So how did he deal with this narrative of Jewish displacement of Canaanites (which I fully support as a Torah Jew) which throws his assertions where they belong? On different occasions, he threw out some version of the arguments below:

  • Jews are the closest thing to the Canaanites. So according to his magical theory we never displaced or killed the Canaanites, but simply became them. Unfounded claims based on nothing.
  • Jews have more "Canaanite blood" than anyone else. More stupid blood-based assertions based on the former, with a similar lack of evidence.
As I've noted before, which studies show such foolishness? Surely the existence of Jewish religion and culture and the lack of Canaanite religion/culture/identity prove otherwise. Blood based theories? Which studies prove that Jews have Gibeonite blood? Such pseudo-historical foolishness.
Finally, Dr. Bellerosenkranz, that famed historian, has also on occasion resorted to the following tactics to contest the biblical narrative. He tends to save the latter one for his secular supporters, since the brazen disregard for tradition of this claim, would put off many religious supporters:
  • The ‘where are the Canaanites today’ argument.  In other words, if there were some Canaanites around then they MAY have a claim. According to this logic the failure of say the “white colonists” in America was that they neglected to exterminate every Indian, which would have included the theoretical possibility of being indigenous.
  • His ignorant assertion that the historical record shows that the biblical account didn't happen as recorded. Here he offends Jewish sensibilities by denying the truth of the historical conquest. Of which there is MUCH proof. Tel Chatzor for example. Even notorious biblical critics don't like the fact that Chatzor's destruction layer damages much of their assertions:
Of course until relatively recently, Ryan was a self-identifying Roman Catholic who believed in Jesus. Suddenly now in middle age he is the arbiter of all matters related to identity. Here are a collection of samplings (out of chronological order) from recent years showing his devotion to Christianity.

The indigenous Roman-Catholic Bellerose tribe.
But wait! The other day, Ryan posted on his wall that he isn't Christian. So what gives? Who is this guy to lecture anyone on anything identity related? He can't even decide who he is himself. Make up your mind, Ryan!

Rarely do people call Ryan out, since his Facebook wall is a notorious echo chamber. Ryan unfriends and blocks people who have the gall to disagree with him or call him out. When "The Judean Hammer" had a Facebook page (before Ryan and his like-minded hasbara minions reported it) we often received messages from these people who admitted that we were right all along and that Ryan was a nasty bully. But sometimes, people on his wall do have the courage to call him put for his falsehood:

Perhaps this explains so much about Ryan Bellerose, and why he maintains that Bnai Brith is a hard-core activist group. He doesn't realize how little he knows. In many ways he resembles Ned Beatty's character in Deliverance. Because he doesn't know nothing.

*For those who require a comprehensive surgical dissection of one of this clown's first articles for the hasbarite blog "IsraellyCool", check out the following link: https://thejudeanhammer.blogspot.co.il/2017/06/ryan-bellerose-hasbara-bottom-feeder.html

Unfortunately, Ryan lacks the intellect to understand the original article (not to mention my rebuttal) so don't expect a cogent response. Ryan shows how clueless he is at the beginning of the article when he confuses me with someone else whose previous article he supposedly "destroyed". Ironically, the article of mine which he references was the very first one I ever wrote on the issue of "indigenous rights" and how it has nothing in common with Judaism. True to form, Ryan has NEVER responded in any manner which would display a modicum of intellect. (His standard response is to call people a**hats.)

Kay Wilson Exposed: Part II

*The author would like to thank his colleagues from "The Judean Hammer", Nathaniel Feingold and Moshe Schwartz for their comprehensive research which contributed greatly to this second article. Few people understand the issue better than they do, as well as the tremendous danger that the "hard targets" pose to the spiritual integrity of the Jewish people. Furthermore, even fewer are willing to address such provocative issues which render one pariah in mainstream circles.

“Kay Wilson was stabbed!!!!”

The refrain of neurotic, mainstream, Jewish hasbara (public relations) clowns whenever one questions Israeli activist Kay Wilson about her documented messianic past, prior to the attack on her life seven years ago by Arabs. Certainly, a powerful emotional argument, since the incident involved the murder of her missionary friend, Kristine Luken, and Wilson sustained her own brutal injuries with a machete. Her story is the stuff of nightmares. Arab barbarism personified.

The problem is that many people are attacked horribly, both good people and bad people. Tyrants have been torn apart by mobs, and the Turks would have eviscerated Vlad Tepes long ago, if they had gotten a hold of him properly. Very often the madmen of ISIS butcher other equally terrible people who find themselves in their cross-hairs. In the Muslim world, Sunnis and Shiites murder and maim one another all the time.

All incidents must be viewed through a prism. Stabbings are terrible and we are emotionally horrified when we consider how we may feel if something happened like that to us or our loved ones. But not all targets are equal. Sometimes bad people get assaulted. And if a missionary is assaulted, according to classical Torah law, we don’t pity them because a missionary is a spiritual predator of Jews. Even if barbaric Arabs caused the horror. So the authentic Jewish position would be not to mourn the murder of a missionary or the attack on one, despite the barbaric nature of the act. This is Judaism if we are being honest, since missionaries are enemies of the Jewish people. See what our classical Jewish thinkers had to say on such matters.

People are sometimes assaulted terribly. Good people and some of the worst people. Being stabbed doesn’t validate one’s worldview or ideology, or give a person an exemption for such beliefs. To be stabbed must be one of the most horrible, traumatic, experiences. None of us should know of it. I have friends who were stabbed. On several occasions years ago, I was ALMOST stabbed, during a street altercation with an anti-Semite. (How is your eye, buddy?) For that matter, I have been almost bashed in the skull Ala Abraham and Glen (a “The Walking Dead” reference) almost shot, and almost run over by a car. Would my views and opinions have more validity if such things occurred, were I too survive?

No. The truth is dependent on facts, not whether I survive violence or experience it. Facts are determined by weighing the evidence. People process things differently. Some people are honest. Many are less so. The question remains: was Kay Wilson a messianic. At the time of the incident, the media widely reported that she was. Screenshots attest to this. Messianic media and mainstream papers like JPost and Haaretz. They have never been sued for libel to my knowledge. Nor has Kay Wilson publicly stood up and demanded that they remove it.

Testimonies: Compiled by Nathaniel Feingold:
  • "Susan Wilson... joined the messianic Christian Mission to Jews (CMJ)" (Jewish Chronicle)
  • "Kay Susan Wilson... her friend a co-worker at a Christian ministry... both worked for CMJ UK, a Christian ministry..." (CNN)
  • "Wilson was a senior tour guide with Shoresh Study Tours of Israel... CMJ guides "are committed Christians"... Shoresh Tours, a CMJ company that organizes tours to Israel. Kaye Wilson, who is the senior tour guide for Shoresh..." (San Antonio Express News)
  • "Kay Wilson, a tour guide who worked part time for Shoresh Tours, a Messianic tour company" (For Zion's Sake Ministries)
  • Kay "Kishkush" Wilson (also identified as Kaye Wilson, Kay Susan Wilson, and Susan Wilson in some articles) is identified in these screenshots of articles by Haaretz and messianic sites Israel Today, Caspari Center Media Review, the Joshua Fund, Messianic Times, and others as:
  • "a Messianic Jewish tour guide" (Haaretz)
  • "a Messianic Jew" (Haaretz)
  • "a Messianic sister" (Israel Today magazine)
  • "an Israeli Messianic believer in Yeshua (Jesus)" (Israel Today)
  • "an Israeli Messianic Jewess born in the UK" (Israel Today)
  • "belongs to a Messianic Jewish congregation" (Caspari Center Media Review quoting Israel HaYom)
  • "an Israeli believer in Jesus" (The Joshua Fund)
  • "Messianic Jewish tour guide" (Messianic Times)
  • "a Jewish believer" (Carrubbers Christian Centre)
  • "a marvelous teacher with a great love for her adopted homeland and her fellow Jews. And of her Lord and savior." (Daniel Muth, who comments that his tour was guided by Kay in 2008)
At the time of the incident she was employed for years by Shoresh tours which is under the umbrella of Christ Church, an open missionary organization. Contrary to the false claims of Wilson's ignorant defenders, throughout the years, Shoresh Tours has consistently stated that all their tour guides are believers in Jesus. Of course they do, as an arm of Christ Church!

In a recent article for The Judean Hammer blog, I noted the following:

“If the notorious street missionary and apostate Jew, Jakob Damkani (yemach shmo vzichro) survived a murderous attack from knife wielding Arabs, would he have the same religious supporters defending him today? Would his crude aggressive style and overt missionizing earn him Jewish enemies or would he garner their sympathy if he survived? After all, how does one differentiate between acts of Arab terror? Is it the victim's demeanor? Style? Hobbies and interests? Perhaps one's accent and country of origin are factors when considering which victim is more charming or sympathetic? Does it help when one denies one's past, despite the evidence? Could Damkani theoretically become a spokesperson for "Stand With Us" or speak on behalf of Israel at the UN? Food for thought, for those rare individuals who think for themselves.”

A fair honest question, which deserves a candid answer. I do not expect an honest answer from Kay Wilson or her army of deluded defenders. So, what are we to do seven years later. Ignore it as the hasbara machine has, and allow a former messianic, and possibly current, to act as an advocate for Israel? What kind of madmen have we become? Before the advent of social media, such a person would never speak for mainstream Jews without a very public expression of admitting one’s past and a genuine teshuvah. The problem is that Wilson has never done this, and when the few Jews who care question her, we get attacked. In any event, she needs to be vetted, and if she comes out as a genuine penitent, no one would be more welcome in my home.

But the process must occur and it hasn’t. And even if she answers the most glaring problem, there are still questions. Why does Wilson retain a friendship with David Pillegi of the notorious missionary organization, Christ Church? Normal Jews would avoid such an odious person like the plague. Let the vetting begin. And to those who prefer the limp-wristed diplomatic approach with dishonest people, proceed as you will by yourself. Don’t expect us to goosestep in line. At “The Judean Hammer”, we do things differently.

We have not yet begun to fight.

Concluding Remarks-"Hasbara" Personified:

Until Jews start to advocate for Israel from a dignified Torah position, and stop elevating flawed Jews and gentiles who distort Judaism and Torah values, we will continue to regress as a nation. And contrary to popular thought, our standing will erode as well. One fights lies with unbridled truth, not by recruiting faux-Indians and faux-ideologies, or people with messianic pasts who lack the integrity to admit their mistakes. Let the hasbara queens yammer to themselves in their echo chambers. They can shop in the shuk and eat shwarma, as they are wont to do. "Zionist things" to do. Sensible Jews should avoid such unscrupulous tokens like a virus.
Unprincipled "hasbara" clown & GoFundMe hustler Ryan Mervin Bellerose with Kay Wilson. The bottom-feeding, racist,  Bellerose is also friends with notorious CUFI missionary Dumisani Washington, as well as Jewish enablers of  missionaries in Israel like David Haivri Axelrod, Yisrael Medad, and so many others. An admitted token by many of his own supporters, he nevertheless interferes in Jewish matters with his trademark arrogance and patented idiocy.  Fortunately, this keyboard warrior is largely recognized by sensible Jews as an arrogant man-child. But in many ways, he personifies the problem of contemporary hasbara.

Perverting The Law Of Mercy: Part II

Like so many leftist rags today, The Times of Israel is a popular online magnet to disseminate anti-Jewish values. A forum of filth where moral defectives frequently share their relativism with a large and often shockingly ignorant audience.  For Jewish writers, The Times of Israel will gladly share your writings if you meet the following criteria:

  • you are an aggressive advocate for gay rights
  • you are an unprincipled “hasbara” activist with an agenda, or a prominent messianic hasbara activist
  • you are a member of a reform, liberal, or “open-orthodox” movement or organization
  •  you are a card-carrying member of the “Women of the Wall” or a militant shrill feminist eager to rant about the evils of rabbinical patriarchy
  • you are a peacenik, or a radical halachic innovator
  • you mock and denigrate Torah values
In order to retain some modicum of credibility, some “conservative” or “right-wing” bloggers are permitted a place at the table, provided they moderate their sentiments and refrain from tackling provocative issues. On the other hand, if you maintain some principles and write something that rocks their general liberal sentiments, they will probably remove your article. This explains the ever-growing number of hasbara “right-wingers” who suddenly have a problem with TOI. When most writers complain about them, it usually follows a bit of professional narcissism. The script is predictable. One of their articles was removed and now they have a complex. In truth, any one with eyes can see that most of their featured articles are of a type. So why should anyone expect leftists to suddenly play fair?

I am proud to say that several years back my second article for TOI was the last one I ever wrote for them. The editors bounced me out so fast after I wrote an unflattering article about President Obama. Evidently, their original assumptions about a curly haired nature loving guy from the remote Negev were way off.

My writing is generally reactive to what I perceive to be societal dysfunction. The Times of Israel is often a good source to go fishing for freaks, in the same manner that I peruse other liberal forums to search for material. It is a medium to discover the dysfunctional faces of contemporary Judaism.
One of the TOI’s more notorious editors frequently receives criticism for her liberal views, where she often beats her chest for “oppressed Palestinians” and vilifies normative Torah values and traditions. In many ways, she is a caricature of a caricature, in the form of the archetypal misguided self-righteous liberal Jew. If you created her character as a work of fiction, no one would believe you. She is often taken to task for her articles. All of it is well deserved. But she is an easy target.

Many other writers fall under the radar, since they lack her notoriety. Some time ago, I wrote an article, “Perverting the Law of Mercy” in response to an article by Rabbi Daniel Landes entitled “Rachmanut for Gaza.” Here we had a purported religious Rabbi expressing a thoroughly un-Jewish position by advocating mercy for ghouls (in the manner of all merciful Jewish fools), and I felt it required a response. A chillul Hashem unanswered is a chillul Hashem run amuck.

Michael Lesher is another such deviant, and his recent article, “Crime and Punishment”: Fadi Qunbar, Elor Azaria and Israel’s Occupation” was one of the more grotesque things I have read in a while. Thus, Part II of the same title was born. Michael Lesher identifies as an orthodox Jew, and his opening comments speaks volumes about his mindset and the kind of pornographic views we can expect from him:

“First of all, I do not want to write about Elor Azaria. He is a cipher: a smirking, undersized bully who murdered a helpless Palestinian because the State of Israel put a rifle into his hands, corrupted him with a racist ideology, and hardened his conscience with a 50-year-long military occupation of the West Bank – to which Azaria added another victim last March.”

I found it ironic that a man whose profile pic accompanying his article resembles the visage of a grinning cartoon villain (pencil moustache, contrived smirk where the eyes betray the smile!) would have the gall to write about “a smirking, undersized bully.” Elor Azaria killed a terrorist. Yet in a shocking admission of Sodom morality, Lesher mourns the terrorist and vilifies the hero. Yet in accordance with the wisdom of never judging a book by the cover, the rest of the article betrays that in this case, the content is indeed FAR worse than the cover.

“But I do want to write a few words about Fadi Qunbar, the young Palestinian father of 4 who, on January 8, became yet another casualty of Israel’s occupation.

Yes, that Fadi Qunbar – the Fadi Qunbar whose life is now summed up in the media under the single word “terrorist,” because he used his truck to kill 4 soldiers of the enemy force occupying his land before their comrades gunned him down. The Fadi Qunbar whose death was not even counted in the headlines that screamed about “4 Killed in Jerusalem Attack” – four soldiers, that is – because a dead Palestinian cannot be mentioned in the same breath as Israelis, just as the newspapers that mourned his oppressors could not spare the ink to correctly identify the site of Qunbar’s death as “occupied East Jerusalem.”

After reading these sick sentiments, the following words danced through my head. “And to the informer may there be no hope” ……

Fadi Qunbar. The same Arab beast who plowed his truck into four beautiful young Jews and murdered them. Injured scores of others. Fadi Qunbar. A genuine man-ghoul who ended the life of the pure and the innocent because of his burning Jew hatred and his bloodlust to finish the Mufti’s quest.

Putting aside for a moment Lesher’s grotesque leftist views relating to his imagined “occupation,” his sympathy for a demon says everything we need to know about him. His hatred and callousness towards the brutal murder of fellow Jews is the reason Chazal had such harsh words for such people. Lesher would have made an effective capo or judenrat, since his writings, in effect, play the same role. One who would destroy his brother. One who has no love for another Jew. One who makes the perverse association of “victim” with a modern-day Nazi.

The four murdered soldiers were murdered because they were Jews, and in addition to the fact that they were soldiers committed to protecting fellow Jews, halachically they sanctified G-d’s Name. They are truly righteous Jews. Michael Lesher is a sneering self-hating grub, who lacks the morality of a sewer rat. Generally, we should love our fellow Jews, despite our differences. But then are other types of Jews. Villains who eagerly join hands with the enemy, to fight against their fellow brothers. For such people, the Torah mandates that we only show them hatred. And even in the absence of Rabbinical courts, there were often harsh measures meted out to such dangerous personalities.
Lesher’s article represents yet another low for TOI.

Any forum which would feature such abominable views (and they frequently do!) should be vilified and exposed for what they are. Jews need to stop pretending that TOI used to be better. It was always a cesspool. But a cesspool rarely becomes cleaner with time. And given the general erosion of values, one can expect continued regression.

The word “Erev Rav” (mixed multitude) is often thrown around incorrectly, sometimes falling upon the heads of who do not deserve it. Michael Lesher is certainly a representative of the mixed multitude. The same can be said for those who would publish such filth. Lesher is a self-hating anomaly (presumably with a kipah) with a twisted soul. Sometimes a kipah reflects an awareness of The Almighty, by sitting squarely on our brainbox and reminding us that G-d exists. Other times, it merely covers a hollow head.

The Lesher’s of the world are welcome on TOI, since the latter love nothing better than sickos with kipot or pretenses of “orthodoxy,” to justify their own misguided beliefs. Michael Lesher is the worst kind of Jew, and despite his self-identification he is about as “orthodox” as the Pope, or a Satanist. A quick perusal of the web illustrates what he is. A self-hating cretin willing to write for The Electronic Intifada. He is an enemy. A diseased soul who sides with Arab murderers in their genocidal war with our people. Chazal had much to say about such defectives and none of it is good. There is really nothing more to say about such people. Like the Neturei Karta, they are the enemy. May they all merit the same fate as their beloved “victims.”

The Lynching of Elor Azaria

"I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6"- Ed Parker

As so many of us feared and expected from a judicial system that often mirrors Sodom rather than Sinai, Sergeant Elor Azaria was convicted of manslaughter. To put it bluntly, a Jewish hero may sit and rot his finest years in prison, possibly twenty years. It is a monumental disgrace, a travesty of injustices to rival anything this country has thrown at decent Jews in the past. Even if Elor is pardoned, the shame of the verdict, of the Bolshevik investigation and kangaroo court which tarred and feathered him from day one, these will never be erased.

In a time when the word Maccabee is thrown around with glibness, often attributed to those who deserve it least, the State of Israel, indeed, the Army of Israel itself, publicly lynched a genuine Maccabee. Today is a dark day in Jewish history. Yet another nail in the coffin containing the remains of Jewish dignity and self-respect.

Today’s guilty verdict for Elor Azaria, a heroic soldier who ended the life of an Arab terrorist, is a stain upon the nation. A stain upon the heads of every Hellenized politician who wants Israel to act humane to the most evil people on earth. A stain upon heads of army and heads of State, including former Minister of Defense Moshe Ya’alon who fed the flames against Azaria from the onset. Among other perverse statements was the following:

"Gentlemen, what do you want here? An army that becomes bestial? An army that lost its moral backbone? I am proud that the company commander indicated that it was an anomalous incident.”

A stain upon Prime Minister Netanyahu for not rising sooner in defense of a valiant soldier of Israel. The fact that Netanyahu is now calling for him to be pardoned is certainly good to hear. But it stinks of political expediency, since the masses are infuriated with the betrayal of a young Jewish soldier, and Netanyahu could have stifled the witch-hunt earlier. You will recall his statement months back:

"What happened in Hevron does not represent the values of the IDF. The IDF expects its soldiers to act with self-control and in accordance with the open-fire regulations."

In any event, as shameful as the conviction is, the most important thing is to ensure that Azaria never sits a day of this perverse prison sentence.

Bestial? Antithetical to IDF values? What of Torah values? The most noble thing on earth is to put a bullet in the head of a terrorist who just tried to murder Jews.  Whether upright or twitching and bleeding on the ground. Imprisoning these beasts is immoral. In Judaism, we destroy our enemies. We certainly don’t warehouse them, educate them, and then release them to murder other Jews, as so many other terrorists have been in the past. And without a doubt, some future unprincipled craven Israeli government would have released this beast, by stating that he had no blood on his hands. Having failed in his first attempt, this Amalekite would have gone out and ensured that he was successful the next time around. So even if this creature wasn’t laden with explosives, even if Azaria wasn’t concerned with this possibility, his actions were supremely Jewish. Matityahu would have been proud of him.

Those who would persecute such a young man are not Maccabees. Maccabees don’t feed their own soldiers to the fire of world opinion. The world loves to incinerate us, yet the Jew who would feed the fire himself, is a judenrat. In a previous article, I noted the following:

In Israel, the uncompromising warrior is often treated like a fiend, or a lawless vigilante. A soldier such as Elor Azaria who kills an Arab terrorist is a hero, and any "Jewish" government that punishes such a warrior is reprehensible. I don't care if the creature was trussed up like a Thanksgiving Turkey. Or whether the ghoul had an explosive. A bullet to the head is the Jewish response. You can bet your last shekel that King David would have agreed. The witch-hunt against Azaria shrieks of Jewish degradation. Such actions are the antidote to Jewish funerals.

This is nothing new in a country where soldiers are increasingly afraid to use their weapons against genuine Arab threats, or in more extreme lunatic situations, are given standing orders to retreat in the face of murderous Arab violence. Where soldiers are indoctrinated with the accursed self-restraint “ethic” which permeates every normative party in Israel, and stands as an ideal in the hearts of so many military men. Sometimes the decision is to be murdered or maimed, or do the right thing by putting a bullet (or several) in the fiend’s cranium. And then face the real danger of prison sentence.

As my good friend, Moshe pointed out, Secretary of State John Kerry’s recent statement mirrored the unintended action of the evil Balaam’s curse. Kerry intended to demonize and vilify Israel by arguing the incompatibility of a Jewish State or democracy. His intention and desire was certainly malevolent, a vindictive expression of Obama’s (and his own) Jew hatred and a desire to alienate and isolate Israel. And yet unlike the belief of too many Jews on both sides of the spectrum, that his assertion was false and that a marriage of the two is workable, without even realizing his statement, John Kerry was correct. The great Rabbi Meir Kahane (may G-d avenge his blood) often stated the exact thing, and unlike Kerry he knew precisely what he was talking about. The most rudimentary definition of democracy would be the majority opinion or will of what the populace believes to be true or desires. Torah deems the majority opinion of the great halachic minds to be the ideal.

Democracy accepts the possibility of an Arab majority, or Arab interests superseding those of Jews. A Jewish state cannot without endangering and ultimately compromising its existence. Even a secular “Jewish” state cannot abide this possibility for reasons of logic. From a halachic statement, the question of who can even be in the country has rigid rules and requirements. Certainly, the Halacha denies even the noble resident stranger (and today’s gentiles in Israel are certainly not) from having any say on matters of State.

In Israel today, the leadership behaves towards Jews in a manner that is neither Jewish nor democratic. It is tragic that we are so far from a true expression of Halacha in the State of Israel. We will surely bleed because of it. But neither do we have a functional democracy, since witch-hunts, administrative detention, and the immoral torturing of innocents are anathema to the former. And a country that punishes her own soldiers for terminating an evil enemy who intended to create orphans and widows, expose their worship of a modern-day Baal on the world stage. The Baal of moral relativism and pacifism.

Where are the Maccabees today? Hard to say, since our times are exceedingly unromantic. Your average middle aged 30-year-old has no chance to pick up a gun in defense of country, despite his desire to do so. We have a repressive government acting within the well-constructed veneer of democracy. Zealotry lacks the catalyst in the contemporary scene. Unless the roof caves in, a revolution seems unlikely at this point until the inferno gets out of control. There may be a tipping point in the future, as there was once upon a time in the town of Modi’in. On that day, a zealous warrior decided that he had enough of the perversion and he started a Torah revolution. In the meantime, we know of at least one such Maccabee in Israel today. Stg. Elor Azaria is a Maccabee in the truest sense of the word. May he be freed soon enough.
